A calm home, individual care and attention for every dog while you are away.
Your dog does not simply wait out your absence here — she keeps her usual rhythm, and gets care and a safe place to be.

Why you can trust me with your dog
A few years ago I went through something that changed how I think about dog boarding completely. My dog died while she was being boarded, and I was not there.
After that I understood how much it matters not just to leave a dog under supervision, but to entrust her to someone who truly watches her, notices changes and treats her with care.
Today my approach rests on three principles:

My name is Nastia. I live in Sant Cugat with my husband and our dachshund Rok.
Rok is part of our family and my constant companion on every adventure, dog-related or not. He is used to other dogs and loves walks, games and company.
We spend a lot of time on training, games, everyday skills and walks in different places. I pay close attention to what dogs eat, how they behave and how they feel — and your dog gets exactly the same attention.
Every dog arrives with her own character and habits. My job is to keep her usual rhythm.

I keep your dog’s routine and continue whatever training you have started — socialisation, everyday skills, schedule. Before she arrives we will talk about what she loves, what frightens her and what helps her feel calm.
I take no more than two dogs at a time — dogs from the same family stay together. That way I can give each of them attention and notice mood, appetite, energy and any change in behaviour.
We are home most of the day, so your dog gets a lot of quiet company and attention.

Every dog has her own habits, quirks and a way of interacting that feels comfortable to her.
If you are currently working on socialisation, everyday skills, calm behaviour or a routine — I will gladly continue your system while she stays with me.
Before she arrives I want to know what your dog loves, what she is afraid of, which rules matter, and what helps her feel calm.
A detailed report after the stay
I send a detailed account of how your dog spent her time. I share:
What matters to me is that you come back not only reassured, but knowing your dog a little better.

In some cases I can stay with your dog at your home. This format is discussed individually and depends on your dog’s character and needs, how long you are away, where the house is, the living conditions and the level of care required.
If familiar surroundings matter a lot to your dog — write to me and we will find a suitable arrangement.

My boarding is a good fit if you are looking for:
It works well for dogs who care less about how many animals are around and more about the quality of company and care.
Caring for dogs beyond boarding
I want to support not only the dogs who come to stay with me, but also those still looking for a family and in need of help. I support initiatives that help shelters in Spain.
Every sign-up with my promo code does double good: you get a promo code from Barkibu, and the 25 € they give me goes to helping shelters in Spain. Thank you for supporting those who need it most. 🤍
Every dog is different, so if you did not find your answer here, just write to me. I will gladly tell you more and help you work out whether my format suits your pet.
Yes — whenever it is possible, I always recommend meeting first. It helps to see how comfortable the dog feels in a new place, lets us get to know each other and gives us time to go through all the details of her care calmly.
No more than two at a time. That way each of them gets enough attention, keeps their routine and stays in a calm home atmosphere. If your dogs are from the same family, I take them together — in that case meeting beforehand is required.
I take dogs of all breeds and sizes. Before booking we will always discuss character, habits and behaviour to make sure my format suits your pet.
Yes, but only after meeting first. Each case is decided individually. If I see that this arrangement would be uncomfortable for my own dog, for other guests or for the dog himself, I may decline the booking. My main task is a safe and calm environment for every dog, so sometimes saying no is responsibility rather than formality.
No, unfortunately I do not take dogs for boarding while they are in heat.
Yes, though it is decided case by case. I need to know the puppy’s age, routine, how socialised he is and what you expect from the stay.
Usually this is enough: her usual food, a favourite bed or blanket, a favourite toy (if it helps her feel calmer), a lead, harness or collar, and any medication she takes. If anything else is needed, I will tell you in advance.
I send photos and videos regularly throughout the stay. Before she arrives we can agree on a frequency that suits you, so you always know how your pet is doing.
Please tell me in advance. Knowing everything matters to me — it is what lets me give your dog the most comfortable and safe care. If you are working on socialisation or everyday skills, or keeping a particular routine, I will gladly continue it during the stay.
If I notice any change in how she feels, or an emergency happens, I will contact you immediately. If urgent veterinary care is needed, I will take her to your clinic without delay (or to the nearest one if the situation requires immediate attention) and tell you everything about the circumstances and next steps. Your pet’s safety and health always come first for me.
Once your dog is home you will get a detailed report. I will tell you how she settled in, what she particularly enjoyed, which habits and traits I noticed, and share observations that will help you understand your dog better.
Yes, in some cases this is possible. It is discussed individually and depends on the location, the length of the stay and your dog’s needs.
Please let me know as early as you can. We will talk it through and find the most convenient solution.
Get in touch any way that suits you. We will discuss the details, meet if this is the first stay, and then I will confirm the booking.
If you still have questions, or want to talk about your particular dog, just write to me. I am always glad to meet new tails and help find the right arrangement. 🫂
Tell me about your dog and the dates — I will reply and we will sort out the details.
